Should there be a market value given to the exchange of body parts for research and transplants?

We are doing a science ethics project and we are going to debate this topic. Our group says that there should be no given value for the exchange of body parts. What do you think and i would like a detailed answer cause this would help our debate. thxs!

Should there be a market value given to the exchange of body parts for research and transplants?
Would you pay 1000 dollars to save your life? Would you pay 100,000? What about your child's life? Your mother's? Your lover's? How much would you pay to save a stranger? How much would a a stranger pay to save you?

How much is an organ worth? Who gets to make that decision? The government? I don't think so.
