MARKET RESEARCH STUDENwhat do you think of online banking- Security, convenience, impersonal, please elaborate
I'm curious to know your results, if you think of it email me when you are finished. I work at a bank now and handle all of the online marketing and website promotions. Is age a factor?? I happen to love online banking and honestly the convenience of being able to jump online anytime and see all of my accounts and transfer funds is priceless. I am short on time (as everyone is) so if I didn't work at a bank I don't think I would actually ever go in one since I can handle everything online and at an ATM. I know how secure it really is and I feel confident 99% of the time. Good Luck!!
Reply:I don't care for the concept, I enjoy knowing my teller and the personal touch that my bank gives me. I also worry that it isn't secure enough and personal information can be hacked. So in short I don't do any on line banking.
Reply:I love my online bank becuase they offer a much higher saving account rate than my bank can. Think about the logistics, if an e-bank (which is still FDIC insured) has no branches, unlike my brick and mortar bank which has hundreds, that is hundreds of less construction costs, maintenance, employees, ect, which leads to lower interest rates and higher savings rates.

As long as one can get over not being able to go to a physical location to get money, I think that e-banks are the way of the future.
