I'm fresh out of college with hopes of a job in market research. My degree is in sociology and i have limited experience in the workforce. What's the next step if no one hires me without having five years experience under my belt?

Go to Greenbook.com http://www.greenbook.com as this site lists all market research agencies per state.
Then start contacting these agencies and find out their available positions.
If you really want something, you can do it :o)
