You can still ask about texture even though your picture is from a book. You'll have to interpret your picture into fabric so texture wil be involved. Applique, screen printing, block printing, embroidery, tapestry, patchwork could all be considered





Market research:


Who will use your cushion? Intended market age group. children, teens, fashionable adults, older


Where will it be used? Bedroom, living room etc


Washability v dry clean


Type of fastening/closure eg zip, buttons, overlap, Closure visible or invisible?


Size - relate this to cost of materials


Shape


Colour
