Hi..Manhunt 2...this question regarding market research...in a sense!?

I am due to go overseas shortly for a break and am going to buy Manhunt 2 (the game banned in UK!) as a birthday gift for a friend. Where would I stand on buying a couple more games for friends in UK? %26amp; anybody interested...

Hi..Manhunt 2...this question regarding market research...in a sense!?
nah, but remember to get the game for the right region or they can't play it.

If it's for europe, you need PAL copy and not an NTSC copy and it needs to be in the right region code.

Does anyone know if PAL games have region codes?

Edit: I know that, I'm talking about disc regions, though. You have to match BOTH the region AND the visual signal to play it.

Edit edit: just checked and there is only one region for PAL so any PAL copy will work, regardless of country.
Reply:Research some british law, if it might be illegal, use a label stamper thingo to put a label over the top of the dvd, and put it in a movie case.

Then customs won't know ****.

Besides its illegal to sell in the UK, not possess.

If it doesn't get banned, buy it from Australia, here we don't ban things until they are released.
Reply:You're buying it in the states for a UK PS2? They won't be compatable, I'm afraid, without chipping your playstation.

It's not so much a region code issue as an incompatability with different TV types.
